Every year they spring up to raise money for the scouts. Some are literally just a few blocks from each other.
My favorite are the ones using the same hand painted signs that have been used for generations. The faded colors harken back to a simpler time. I mean, these pre-date artificial trees.
Kind of weird to think about the impact of trends to fundraising.
