In search of warmer weather, we headed to Bluffton, South Carolina. The weather was not cooperating as much as we had hoped, but we still got to see the sights and enjoy some great food.
The Bluffton Oyster Factory Park provided some fun views of the protected harbor. And yes, there were tons of oyster shells.
The tide was low and I walked out on the pier to get a couple shots.
We went a little further down to Calhoun Street public dock.
The Historical Society is here in the park and we poked our heads inside.
The Church of the Cross is across the street and has some pretty interesting history.
This donut shop was really cool, but they were not open for me to try.
We toured around Savannah as well. We took the trolly tour, hit up River Street, and walked around many of the other squares.
I had to pull over for the amazing sign on the Thunderbird Inn. Fun people stay here!
We stopped by the Juliet Gordon Low house.
