Multiple Exposures with the NIKON N8008 35mm Film Camera

Multiple Exposures with the NIKON N8008 35mm Film Camera

The late 80's and 90's produced some of the most technically advanced 35mm film SLR cameras. The NIKON N8008 is no exception. Released in 1988, it had built in features and accessories that made it a formidable image making platform.

The menu buttons have a Multiple exposure capability allowing you to expose up to 9 times on one frame.

To activate, you simply hold the "ME" button and turn the jog wheel to the desired number of exposures.

I took all of these using two exposures. To mask the image areas I simply used my hand in front of the lens. For example, the landscapes were done by masking the top of the frame with my hand, then flipping the camera upside down and continuing to mask the top of the image. Easy!

Will need to play around more with this though as it's an incredibly easy artistic tool.
