The Stanley Hotel

We wound our way up US-36 into Estes Park on our way to explore the eastern entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. We visited the Stanley Hotel, which held some photography secrets I was not aware of!

It turns out that Kodak bought the Stanley Dry Plate company in 1904 and continued to make them under the Kodak brand for decades. There's a couple cases of historical items in the basement where they had a box of plates!
