I need to create. It's just something I need to do. I physically feel better after making photographs. It's been some time since I last shot in the studio. I've decided to setup the studio with a couple different looks and get someone in to burn through some rolls of film.
I wanted to play with a red gel and also wanted to incorporate more gobos. I came up with a large diffusion sheet with a red gelled strobe behind it for fill and background while the key light was a gridded strobe with a one inch slat gobo aligned to the cheekbone of the model to emphasize it. I of course wanted to try it out, so I stood in for some test shots with the self timer and some EKTACHROME slide film.
