Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park

I've seen photos from Yosemite National Park since grade school. They always looked so beautiful and majestic. It didn't seem like you could take a bad photo there.

I had no idea just how much a photograph could fail to accurately capture the human experience. Photography always seemed to be able to take something mundane and frame it in a way to find hidden beauty. In a place like Yosemite, there's simply too much beauty to capture. It literally overflows the frame.

You might even come across a Ranger on horseback.

If you do, ask them questions. They are wonderful teachers.

The Lower Yosemite Fall Trail takes you to the base of the iconic Yosemite Falls.

Yosemite Creek continues on to join the Merced River and as it passes through the valley floor.
