ROCSTAMEET

ROCSTAMEET

This past April the fine folks at Explore Rochester held a "Rocstameet" to celebrate Earth Day and to do a little exploring around Cobb's Hill in Rochester. If you are not familiar with them, you should spend some time going through the Explore Rochester Instagram feed and join the community.

The meet up began at TRATA where folks gathered for drinks and food. The plan was to then hike out to the top of the reservoir and hang out until the sunset. I of course brought my camera loaded with KODAK PORTRA film and took the time at TRATA to do a little exploring of my own. Here are some interior shots I took of the restaurant.

The patio was open as well. Great spot for a drink.

Then everyone headed out to Cobb's Hill where we walked around the reservoir and then went over to the abandoned water tanks. This was the first time I had ever been over there. The tanks must go back to the 30's or 40's, but have been empty for a very long time. Now graffiti artists use them as their canvas. Really cool work.
